Docking station is not working?? Help please

my docking station is not recognizing my phone at all.....since i have had for a week now it has not properly worked for the alarm.....i can only hear it from the back of the phone...is this a known issue >

The HTC Rhyme is a great smartphone and its super stylish! I bought my girlfriend one and she loves it! I love the fact that it comes with all of the popular accessories that our customers enjoy! May I ask is there any physical or liquid damage on the device or the docking station? Also, is there an error message that appears on the screen of the phone when attached to the docking station? If you would to be so kind as to provide more info on the issue then I can customize a solution for you!
