The glaring elephant in the room is BOY there sure are a lot of factory replacements available for a phone out all of 4 months...

Everyone's problem TBolts are literally just recirculating. SO many people are getting replacement after replacement, and Verizon obviously doesn't have a fix for its issues, so that's why they just tell people that another replacement isn't going to actually fix anything.

It amazes me that people defend Verizon. You must work for them and NO...no one EVER said it was a promotion!

I owned a thunderbolt, and if you ever ready the receipt it does say promotion  expires May 16, 2010 on it.  Also if you ever logged into my Verizon it did say the same thing.  There were multiple places where the information could have been found.  They have extended it twice since then before switching to the tiered plan...

It amazes me that because people read what they are supposed are considered working for Verizon.

I can also vouch for Verizon in this case because it WAS stated in my account documents. What's REALLY surprising me is the fact that even Wirefly also made this a known fact for people who bought the phone at a discounted price on their website. But it does happen to the best of us when we fail to read every little thing on our account documents/bill.

I've had almost the exact same problem - the phone rebooting 5-6x a day or more.  I was told I could get a used phone to replace my brand new one that turned out to be defective (aside from the defective software) I called during the 14 day window and outside of it and was told almost the same exact thing as you.

Although when I said I wanted to return the phone I was told I could get my account credited for the price of the phone, less the $35 restocking fee.  When the credit never showed up I called and they said the notes stated I agreed to return the phones and still pay the $260 for the phone!

I'm back to using my droid and fighting to get my money back!

I finally got a credit for $164, this includes the $35 restocking fee! but the credit has yet to show up!

This company is ridiculous!

A couple of things shocking (no, typical) about this thread.

First, I have a friend that has experienced many of your issues with the TB.

Second, you wrote about a hundred lines of text about many issues and concerns and most people ignored all that and jumped on the same thing........that you complained about the end of the promotional period.

You DID make two mistakes.

Buying a TB.

Posting here with that attitude.

Like on Seinfeld, you should post like this:

You: I love my phone. I love Verizon. May I ask a question?

Forum: Yes, you may.

You: I know it must be something that I did and you are always right.

Forum: WHAT IS YOUR QUESTION?

You: I think (insert phone here) is defective.

Forum: NO ANSWER FOR YOU. GET OUT!

And, just to be clear, once again, that is what is called sarcasm.

No offense intended. If we all can't have a sense of humor about these stupid smart phones......

No Soup for You, No Answer for You. Couldn't resist.
