Email account deactivation fixed

My wife and I recieved identical emails a couple of day's ago after she opened her's her email quit working, it would ask for a user name and password and then say it could not be authenticated, called verizion and they calld HTC then told me that the only way to fix this problem was to reset the phone the dreaded hard start. I told Verizon that I would fix it myself. The fix is to go online to google on your computer and create another google account this can be a dead account that you never use, then on your phone createthe new google account leaving the old google account intact, then check your account's and low and behold the old google account starts working you can once again send and recieve emails on the old account!
