Error message - The process com.htc.bg has stopped unexpectedly.

I have been recieving this error message whenever I change screens of in the middle of reading an email or mostly anthing else.  I press force closure and can continue with what I am doing but I what to identify why this error is occurring and resolve the issue.   any thoughts???

I get it all the time, no matter what Im doing.. Mostly when Im txting or like you said changing screens.. i

The error message may be due to the Facebook application on your device.  You may resolve your issue by turning off Facebook sync. You can always start the contact sync at any time to update your contacts via Facebook with your phone contacts. I have listed the steps below to unsync your Facebook contacts.

Menu<settings<accounts and sync<choose Facebook and uncheck sync contacts. If you don't have Facebook it might be one of the other accounts that sync.

happens to me also, but at random, and it doesn't matter what app i run, something always force closes. Getting to the point where i am about to let this phone go.

Thank you all for advising us of this problem. To resolve, please follow these simple steps: 

• Remove all Accounts from Friend Stream. (Facebook, Twitter and Flickr)
• Press Menu, Tap Settings >> Accounts&Sync >> Facebook for Sense, Remove Account
• Repeat this process for all Social Network Accounts.

Next, go to Settings >> Applications >> Manage Applications, Clear Data and Clear Cache for all Social Network Accounts.

Reboot device and login back to your social network.

If the issue persists, please continue to let us know and we will troubleshoot further.
