The word is that the TB will finally get s update to resolve the data and signal issues that has been dreading us all from time to time...
Check it oit at http://www.androidcentral.com/htc-thunderbolt-miui-port-gets-working-data-release-follow-soon
Hopefully this mean Verizon and HTC has a plug into this and give us a update that has the same outcome...

???? That article refers to a miui port for the Thunderbolt which is irrelevant to Verizon or HTC. This just means that the developers working on it managed to get data working which is usually a major issue with any type of port or aosp work.

Is there another article? That android central post just says that one of the BAMF developers helped get data working. Wouldn't expect anything from there will actually be used by Verizon or HTC. That said, I haven't had any data or signal issues outside of the main outages.

Wildman,
Did you happen to get the update that began 10/25/11 for the Thunderbolt Update?
It did in fact address the data connectivity issues.

Yes I have the recent update and the devices data basically has been better but still goes dormant regularly and does it even more when using the Hotspot app.... I have a droid X from work and experiance the same issue with that device also.
Anytime I do anything with a decent load on the network the connection goes dormant and I have to cycle airplane mode.
