I have been having a problem with my Thunderbolt receiving texts. I have had this problem since i have got the phone. I have talked to technical support multiple times. i have reset, updated, i have done many things tech support suggests and even had my phone replaced with a refurbished phone. i have tried multiple text apps to include handscent, sms, etc. all the same issue.
I have narrowed it down to the fact that my phone does not receive complete texts from anyone with ATT iPhone. Yes Tech support has tried to blame this on ATT however my daughters both have Verizon iPhones and My husband has ATT Blackberry...we can all be sent the same text...they will get the complete text, I will get the beginning...Not the end...
It doesn't break up into multiple texts or even go out of order. I just don't get the end of the text.
It is very frustrating. I have given up at this point and deciding what to do when my contract is up. i have been with Verizon for a long time and overall very happy.
I am thinking this may not be a phone issue as much as a setting on my account...since i have a new refurbished phone. I was originally thinking it was the phone because i have another friend with the same phone who had the same issue.
If you could help fix this it would be greatly appreciated.
