HTC Rhyme Getting Cause Code 97 and 3, Error Class 2

I have HTC Rhyme, phone worked last night and part of this morning.  Currently I cannot send text messages, I can receive them, not send them.  When attempting to send I get an error message.  When I hit the details tab, somethimes I get the Cause Code 97 Class 2 and sometimes the Cause Code 3 Class 2.  I turned off my phone for 30 minutes which did not fix the problem, I called *228 which did not fix the problem.  This happens when trying to text anyone on my contact list.  Any suggestions?

Try calling customer service at 1-800-922-0204 from another phone and ask if they could reset your text message feature from their end.

Also when you dialed *228, did you choose option 1 to reprogram the phone to the Verizon Wireless network?

I use messaging all the time and don't want you having any issues sending messages. Since posting, has your issue been resolved? The issue you mentioned, did it happen with an individual user, or were you unable to send messages at all? Please delete any long unneeded messaging threads and try again.
