I have seen this under discussions as a problem, and it just happened to me today. I have had my phone for only five months. Today it went off and it will not go back on. It was fully charged. I tried the soft reset, taking the chip out and replacing it, no results. It just does not work anymore. I tried to contact Verizon customer service, but I can't do it without a phone. What a joke the customer service is, anyway. This is the worst company I have ever, ever done business with. Does anyone have a solution, because I am obviously not going to get any help from the company I pay $300 a month to for our family plan, and I am thinking the best solution is to buy a pay as you go phone and forget about the remainder of my contract with Verizon. Who cares, at this point.
