Hands free link on my Honda won't read or let me know that I have text messages

Has there been any recent software updates to either your phone or the HandsFreeLink equipment? What error message do you get?

Model HTC one model# 6500lvw no it doesn't work for text messages. The
error on the car screen unsupported . Honda says it's a phone issue

Jdflynn, thank you so much for the further details. So we can get a better idea of the usage of your phone. What text message application are you currently using? Are you using the default text message application or a 3rd party appication from the Google Play Store? Keep me posted.
