It's very annoying at times having to press the power button just to turn the display back on. So many times when my Rezound is not active and the screen display is off, I wanted to POWER it back on without having to press the power button. A lot of people told me this was not possible. However it actually is. I recently came across a app called Proximity Screen Off and it allows for you to power the phone back on/turn back on display by just moving your hand over the sensor. 
The app works really great and it's actually enjoyable to power the phone back on without having to even touch the phone! 🙂
There are many other ones as well, including a app called Auto Screen On!
