My phone automatically updated to ICS. I am not noticing performance issues; but I do not use many of the apps and tools.
My problem is the new interface. It is horrible. The lock page with that stupid circle I have to drag for no reason at all; the email page is set up worse, I see fewer emails in the list at a time; but worst, perhaps, is the message page. I now get those foolish and word bubbles for each message. My Android looks like my wife's iPhone.
Does anyone know how I can revert the interface to how it was before the "upgrade?"
Thanks!!
I do agree that ring thing is ugly. But that is only the tip of the ice berg for this terrible forced upgrade. Apps no longer work, laggy, phone is unusable.

Do you know if you are under warranty?
sorry, but you can't undo the OS update without seriously altering the device by means that verizon won't allow us to discuss.
android is an open source software
vrz is blocking you from your own phone
and will not allow you run the operating system of your choice or the os that came with your phone from the factory.
this violates vrz tos with Google new owners of Android
don't blame your phone maker the hardware use to work great right ?
don't blame Google they released the source code and permissive licensing allows the software to be freely modified
its vrz blocking you from your own phone is why you cant downgrade back to gingerbread.
Android is a Linux-based operating system designed primarily for touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers. Initially developed by Android, Inc., which Google backed financially and later purchased in 2005,[9] Android was unveiled in 2007 along with the founding of the Open Handset Alliance: a consortium of hardware, software, and telecommunication companies devoted to advancing open standards for mobile devices.[10] The first Android-powered phone was sold in October 2008.[11]
Android is open source and Google releases the code under the Apache License.[12] This open source code and permissive licensing allows the software to be freely modified and distributed by device manufacturers, wireless carriers and enthusiast developers.......

Android is Not 100% open source. It is ASL based while Linux is GPL. Learn the difference between those two licenses.

Wrong as usual but if it makes you feel better to say so.
