I am a clumsy typist, and Swype looks like something great. Does the Thunderbolt have it installed? I'd hate to have to mess arfound with a beta, or something.

You can see if you can sign up for the beta program.
You can also look at other alternate keyboards. "SwiftKey X" is one I use. I believe other have posted about "Smart Keyboard".

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

i use smart keyboard pro when "2 thumbin" it in landascape mode and swype when in portrait and i need to swype with one hand. works well. and i believe the beta version of swype for the tbolt is still open to new users. you go to swype's site and register and they email you instructions and the download (it's not in the market)

I've been using Swiftkey X since the beta and got the official version for free. Love those free amazon apps of the day! Touchpal looks like another that has a lot of potential. http://www.cootek.com/index.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74Cr8eXuKl4
