Wasn't sure if I wanted to put this in a new thread, but I opted for this one. HTC just sent me an email entitled, "What dad's really want this Father's Day." The email was a sales pitch for the HTC One X and EVO 4G. As a father, there's only one thing I want from HTC and Verizon this Father's Day... I want my Ice Cream Sandwich.

I don't think it was really necessary to put it in a new thread or this one.

Demmo thats just your opinion. My post was meant as tongue and cheek humor. HTC thinks they know what is important this Fathers Day. As a Father, I'm making sure that they remember their existing customers that they have already forgotten about.

Still no freaking update? lol
Apple should really be kinder to Google/Android in the courtrooms. These nonsensically loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong update delays are hands down the best marketing tool Apple has going for them - and it costs them nothing. Just sit back and collect the disgruntled, former Android users as they come rolling in. And now I see the iPhone is heading to prepaid-ville as well.

After seeing the issues that the devices the have ICS I really think that UI intergration hasn't been going so well and this is why the set back.
Motorola has been removing unsupported apps from rom to work out support issues and I am guessing Sense is also causing major issues.

Larry Page need to be more like Microsoft. The other day they just told HTC to shove their customizations because it's not even happening on their platform..

That would completely go against Android's open source nature and, IMO, would completely ruin it.

With the limits and memory issues that WM devices have it really isn't surprising that they would look to remove it.
Android can handle the UI better but HTC keeps modifying it and intergrating it deeper and deeper that has started causing issues even fir their developers.

The one X and EVO 4G LTE are not bad phones, but for verizon customers they
can't get them as Verizon doesn't want them. I'm still waiting for that 5"
note from HTC thats rumored for verizon. Too big? perhaps, but I'm also
nesting for the one series
