I don't understand why the Ice Scream Sandwich update is taking so long for the HTC Thunderbolt. <Comment removed to comply with the .> I would at the very least be happy with a weekly report on how the update for the Thunderbolt is progressing. Now, if you decide to not go through the update for the Thunderbolt, then at least let existing Thunderbolt owners have the option to unlock their phones. I would like the added security ICS brings to the OS besides newer features.

Abbreviation for Ice Cream Sandwich, the long overdue promised update to our Thunderbolts Verizon has failed to deliver.

Other people have been able to get ICS to work with their HTC Thunderbolt phones without too much of an issue. Why not get help from those skill people at XDA?

Its an option but voids the warranty and I doubt the majority of users would want to do that. I would rather just have Verizon treat us like customers instead of dwindling numbers of users who don't matter to them.
