Hi Missy,

Your query is a bit vague but here are a few things you can try.

1)  Make sure you don't have Airplane Mode turned on.  (I assume you can receive/make phone calls).

2)  Go to Settings, Wireless & Networks and make sure you MOBILE Network has a check mark in the box and it shows connected.

3) Shut your phone off completely, remove the battery, put it back in and turn the phone back on.

A couple of things to try.  Good luck.

Hello missy79,

I noticed that Rramsey718 has provided some steps for you to try. May I ask have you had the chance to complete them yet? If so then what was the results? Are you getting any error messages when trying to connect to the internet? Please verify that you have the most current software version then reply with your findings just in case additional assistance is needed. Thank you. ^AH

Clear the cashe in the web browser after gingerbread they decreased how much you can do before you have to delete it. I think it's in the browser then you press a key to get into the setting to see if you have it set to the max.

Then you go to settings, application, the browser, then there be clear cashe

I am having the same issue.  For the past 5 days it shows 4g then it goes off - on, off, on, off - etc.  I cannot load any pages on the internet on the phone.  I don't even get the 3g or 1x - I get nothing then the little box pops up and tells me I'm not connected to the network but, by the time I go into the settings to make sure box is checked (though I've done nothing to uncheck it) it comes back but, by the time I get to the internet it's off again - yet everytime I go to my settings it never shows I'm off the network (even though the box comes up saying I'm not connected and it doesn't show any coverage - 4g, 3g or 1x - the box is still checked and green in the settings and says I'm connected).  I cannot get Facebook to load at all.  My phone's battery has also all of a sudden taken a tank -  isn't even lasting until 5pm (when I take off charger at 7am) - It was going strong until almost 11:30PM before my lack of internet coverage.  I've cleared my internet (multiple times - the history, cookies, cache, everything including passwords), I've tried re-booting phone, I've taken battery out multiple times and absolutely nothing I do works.  My husband who has the droid - older model - (which is 3g) can sit next to me and can load Facebook in a matter of seconds, yet my 4g phone will not load it at all because the connection keeps dropping.  I can't get on google - shoot I'm lucky if I can even get the surf page to load within 15 minutes.  What is going on and why is the internet going out on the phone or loss of coverage - whatever you want to call it.  I live in Grand Rapids, MI and I am not in area's that I am not normally in.  This is happening downtown, out by the airport - no matter where in the area the internet will not work.

I'm having an issue too, and if you check forums on the internet, you'll see that many others are reporting the same problems.  It's on Verizon's end and it's not a problem with our phones but we just need to make sure VZ knows of our problems and give them time to address the issues.

Having same issues here, have done some of the steps some of you have posted and it is still not working correctly, guess we need to let Verizon know that they are having the problem.

Have you attempted to see if the firmware update has been pushed??? That update fixed my data connection issues.
