I can also confirm that the latest update fixed the rebooting issue. 
OK, I spent 20 min on the phone with HTC support, and seem to have gotten the problem fixed. First, pull up all apps then locate maps and hit the clear data button. Next, do the same for Navigation. Power off and restart the phone. Then, go back to settings and find the Power icon and hit that icon. On the next screen you will see the "fast boot" box...if it is checked then uncheck the box. I was told the fast boot keeps the phone from fully clearing previous locations and causes the app to fail. By the way, they did ask for the version of maps I was running, and that can be found when you open map icon. Mine version was 6.11.1 Hope this helps.
Yes, the latest update for Maps (available in the past Play Store) has fixed the reboot issue for the Rezound.
