Hello AZSALUKI,
At this moment there is no release information for the GB update for the Thunderbolt. You can navigate to this link https://email.vzwshop.com/servlet/formlink/f?NFOQU&SOURCEID=WEB_DGF_VZW_SUPPORTNAV to sign up for updates. Thank you.

And toes......
Honestly I don't care, as long as it fixes the random reboots and the Google issue.

I hope for you guys it's true but that date is only 12 days away and I can't find the actual notice on VZWs site. Also it says gtalk video which it would actually be Google Talk with video ( read this in AC comments ) this is gtalk https://www.gtalk.us/pinless/ . So either this is a rough draft or someone is playing a joke.

FAKE. Here's why...
1) gTalk....I don't think so.
2) Amazon App...Not likely
3) Multiple spelling errors..., "Extentions", "Enchanced"
GB won't be so soon. MR2.5 on the other hand, should be out soon and won't be bundled with GB.

Karmajack
You're probably right, but I may think a little more of the Amazon App's chances than you do.

If we can get someone from Verizon to confirm or deny it, then I would be EXTREMELY happy!!

Two, confirmation by a VZW employee here is unlikely.
Three, not holding my breath. It will come when it comes. Hopefully it will have been thoroughly tested and includes the reboots/shutdown fix if there isn't a maintenance release in the meantime for it. Either way, for the Gingerbread update, I will factory resetting my device shortly after it is installed if not before the update is installed.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I agree with karmajack, there are too many errors in that advertisement for it to be an official Verizon advertisement. I think someone used the May 13 update advertisement and edited it using Adobe Acrobat (or some other program). Besides the errors that karmajack noticed, if you look at the top graphic you will notice that the program that this was being viewed on has been blacked out and then at the bottom graphic, the code number at the bottom right corner of the ad has also been blacked out. If I were a betting man I would say that this is a big fake.
