I've had my HTC thunderbolt for a year and a half and all of a sudden over the last few months my volume has gotten lower and lower. I have my call volume all the way up as high as it goes but I can hardly hear any phone call that comes in. Nothing I do helps.
Anyone else having these kind of issues?

Hi cchilders1982,
Let's see what's causing the problem! Have you recently downloaded any new applications? Has your phone been exposed to any physical or water damage? When did the problem begin?

It started right after my phone did some kind of update. I had to reset my phone to the factory settings. I did this again yesterday to see if it would fix the problem and it didn't. Nothing else has happened to my phone.
It's the strangest thing.

@cchilders1982,
Thanks for trying that!
It sounds like it may be an issues with the ear piece. Do you have insurance? If so you can file a claim here http://bit.ly/07CrqPK.
If you have the extended warranty we can replace at no cost as long as there is no damage.
I suggest taking phone into a VZW store for a hands on evaluation. http://bit.ly/3SdsA to find the nearest store.
