NFL app will not work

Why is the NFL now not working on Thunderbolts running asop roms such as CM7?
It gives an error "NFL content can only be viewed by active Verizon users"
Verizon certainly knows I am a active user as they bill me for my calls/texts/data.
To throw a wrench into this the NFL app works just fine with a Dinc or DX running CM7.

Again I'll ask if you can post a link to the thread with the apk solution I can mark this thread solved once I test it.
Thanks in advance
Agreed, the link to the specific thread you are referring to would be useful. I've only found threads with ineffectual solutions for AOSP software.

near the very bottom. it worked like a charm (bamf 3). if it doesn't work on for AOSP then then i got nothing.....except maybe you want to consider bamf.

Yeah, the "das bamf" just deleted the SSO app. AOSP problem is totally different, hence the entire existence of this thread and frustration in the first place.
Running das Bamf isn't something I'm willing to consider. Sense-based ROMs are over 400% the size of AOSP ROMs. The amoung of bloat in there is simply ridiculous - it doesn't allow my phone to perform in an acceptable manner even with all the muscle inside our TBolts. 😞

and again i say go back to the cm7 devs and ask them to fix it
if it works on other roms, then there must be something wrong with cm7
they trimmed something that was needed by the app

Not sure what more you're expecting from your phone. Have to say I've been quite pleased with BAMF RC 4.9 and now Gingeritis 3D Beta VI. Tried CM7 but wasn't as impressed with it as I was when I had it on the OG Droid and Fascinate. Sense 3.0 is super smooth

yeah...mine runs pretty smooth as well. and i guess aosp roms wouldn't be an option for me as the nfl app is EXACTLY what an app should be....and a must have. i'm guessing they will fix this though....hopefully before the season starts. i would think that not being able to get the nfl app will be even more unacceptable than the bloat on bamf roms.

Unrelated, but any word when/if VZW will require us to pay for the app? I know last year they stated we would have to pay this season.
not sure. i actually thought that some people (that didn't have it prior to a certain date) already had to pay for it...or it required a vcast subscription...or something???
