Well not really...the number that is registered to my device is the same mobile number that i have always had but, I have just bought the Thunderbolt (first smart phone) and the first person that i was communtcating with (via text) asked why my number was showing up as some weird 16 digit number. I texted another friend and i saw for myself the same thing. does anyone know what is up with this?...experienced the same thing?

My wife and I had this problem for 2 different Thunderbolts. We pulled the battery.. Waited 30 seconds.. Put the battery back in and restarted and it hasn't been an issue since.
