Well I tried getting the update through out the night and I still get "no software update avalible". Lets just see if the second leaked image is true or not. Post anything here if anyone get the Android 4.0 ICS update.

I wouldn't expect the update to be pushed until late tonight (I'm assuming you are on the east coast and it is already the 9th for you). Typically they start late on the first night.

I believe that the ota's start at 11:59pm the day it is released. So, if may ninth is the release date. It will be available for one minute today. I don't know what time zone they use.

Earliest would be 11:59 east coast time if the rumor is true.

Since the latest Rezound ICS leak is reported to be fairly stable, we should be getting the OTA soon, even if it does not happen midnight tonight. It is more important for HTC and Verizon to get it right than it is for them to get it immediately, even though a lot of Rezound owners are weary of waiting.
I recently received an OTA update to ICS for my Acer A500 and also used a custom Rom to upgrade my older Viewsonic GTablet (Team DRH) to ICS, so I am looking forward to having ICS on all my devices. My wife got a Galaxy Nexus, so she has had the benefits of ICS all along. I must say, though, that the Rezound runs quite well with Gingerbread. I never felt that my wife had a better phone than the one I chose. Once we get ICS, the Rezound should be better than the Nexus.
Since this is a Verizon forum, I doubt that many forum users are trying to use their Rezound on a non-Verizon network, but if you are, be cautioned that the latest leak (and presumably the OTA) contains changes that block you from using the Rezound on another network. So be warned.

Yeah, I have the second to the last leak and it is not only stable as a whole, but the data connectivity is far more reliable as well. It is definitely worth the wait, though, as sad as it is for me to say it, it makes the phone what it should have been at the release.

i have spoken with a verizon rep and im SHOCKED that they actually new something bout this OTA according to the rep it was suppose to release this morning but they have determined there was still bugs and its been pushed back 2 weeks so we gotta wait a little longer so yes its a bust but not a complete bust

I don't know if its more shocking that they one of them admitting to knowing something (about ICS) or that they could not take five minutes and tell us to stop hitting update software on our phones as no update was coming.
If they knew this morning that the update was a no go, then they could have posted something in the Rezound forum. One sentenced would do.
"Hey, we tried to get you the update today, but circumstances beyond our control will delay it two weeks."
Simple and to the point.

2 weeks, 2 months... heck if they wait 14 months I'll be out of contract.
And yet, Verizon is said to have the best customer service... they are really showing it.
- GNex has had the software for 6 months.
- We have a stable Release Candidate
- My new Samsung Tablet has ICS
Knowing all this, Big Red still wants us to believe its not ready yet.

The manufacturer has to adjust the software to their hardware differences from their devices too. That takes some time as well.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Timothy at Verizon Support is confirming that they are not even going to speculate on a new release date again, with all the push back that is going on with the ICS release. With no word re: why or why not from Verizon; it seems a bit odd they have not tried to assure the customer that they want a bug free product release, instead we have silence! Rather deafening isn’t it….
