Pairing phone with my vehicle successfully (SO FAR)

my phone kept connecting and disconnecting from my car's hands free.

i had to do a factory reset.

chose my language and skipped all the other setup options.

paired my device

DECLINED the phone book option.  (Think the phonebook was the problem)

Held down "my vehicle" until options came up and made sure both options were checked.

Works so far and the voice dialing from my car seems to work nicely.

Hope this helps.  I've been scouring this site, google discussions and htc's site for a solution and finally found this today!
