If the version has the same features what difference would it really make the version number, besides most users disable the stock UI on a device anyway.

Used both and still felt the users experience didn't change all that much..
Users said same thing with 3.5... Other that lock screen design and transitions users wouldn't notice a difference.

No its not moot. I was simply stating that their are several HTC handsets (One Series and Droid Incredible 4G) out there running Ice Cream Sandwich that are just as capable as our handset.
If the hardware was vastly different, then Verizon would have a leg to stand on as to why the ICS Update is taking so long. The Thunderbolt was the first 4G phone. I would take Verizon's word for it if they said that HTC was having problems bringing ICS to that phone.
At this point, I believe Verizon has the update and they are just sitting on it. There most likely waiting for the release of the Droid Incredible 4G or Samsung Galaxy S3
Prove me wrong Verizon. Show us PROOF that you do not have the update. There has to be a paper trail of testing reports or logs

You must be blind as sense 4 looks and acts a lot diferent then older sense
versions I tested the evo 4g lte at sprint so in would actually know.
Unless you are confused and thinking of sense 3.0-3.6 as Sense 3.6 is not
much diferent from 3.5

saying it's not bad
