I remember Verizon telling me to keep my HTC One M8 on global but I don't travel out of the country. Is it better to switch to LTE/CDMA or keep it on global? I did a search on Google and everything I could find said to use LTE/CDMA if not leaving the country.
Thanks

I would leave it on LTE/CDMA.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Old thread. But, if anyone looks this up. Test your speed with an app like Speedtest.net by Ookla.
LTE/CDMA- download: 23.44Mbps, upload: 7.81Mbps
Global - download: 27.76Mbps, upload: 9.98Mbps
WiFi 5G for reference - download: 41.38Mbps, upload: 21.00Mbps
So, in my case, in my location, Global is faster than LTE/CDMA setting. WiFi 5G is way better.
Speed is what I want.
