This is indeed very strange. The fact that it will not even come up is very troubling and we want to get that solved! Did you have a lot of text messages in your inbox prior to the update? Have you tried using a 3rd party messaging application at all? Please go to Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, and click on All. Find Messaging and please click on clear data. Don't worry, this won't delete your texts! Please let us know if you need further assistance!
