I have been noticing when I get a call my phone will power cycle down if I miss a call.  Then restarting my phone will power cycle to HTC screen and loop.  I have to pull the battery out for 30 minutes to get it to cut back on.  Is there going to be a another update to the phone.  I have the extend battery too which get hot when it is charging.  Please let me know.

Yikes! That is definitely not how your phone is supposed to function. This wouldn't be due to your current software version, this sounds like a phone glitch!  I will be delighted to provide some information so we can fix this together.

First, if you have any Task Killers, Antiviruses, or Battery Savers I would uninstall them.  They tend to cause system instability.  Unfortunately it can get so bad that you may have to do a master reset of your device.

Before we get there though, try putting your phone in Safe Mode:

Try having someone call you and let the call go to voicemail.  If it works, we know it's an application causing the issue.  If it doesn't work I would recommend a hard reset.
