I saw that on Android Central.
I think I will reactivate my Tbolt when it gets the update.

which will add what to the phone?
the ability to unlock it with a face scan.. cool?
I don't get why people get all huffy and puffy over OS updates that don't bring anything to their phones lol

Who cares what it adds to the phone. I'm just happy because this will give everyone more opportunity to whine and complain about HTC & Verizon!

i simply like to see when we get an update so that i know my current device is still being supported. it's a shame when you have a phone and don't get an update because it just makes you feel like you bought something with no support at all. (i also like to know we will get it because it stirs up the development community, which brings fun things!!!!)

True, True... I am ready for something new but I will let other be the test Guinea Pig before I try any of the updates... My device has ran flawlessly and I really dont see myself jumping into a OS that will probably cause issues..

When they finish it and push it to Verizon. Then Verizon will test it a bit, put their software package on it. Then you will get it.

Just out of curiosity, It's my understanding that when they release word of an update, it usually will happen within a week. Am I correct on that or are the users on Androidpolice.com mistaken?

There really isnt any guarentees on when a update will be released because sometimes unexpected situation happens, so I would say it is best to just wait and see instead of guessing off a rumor... Only the manufacture and carriers knows for sure and they usually are not telling to avoid confusion if the release data changed.

They are mistaken. Manufacturers, nor carriers will never make a hard date as things could happen. Then you consider all those "sue happy" I was promised an update on this day headaches. So AP and similar sites are basing things of a he said she said.

Updates happening within a week? If we are so lucky! Maybe if the official support page is up on the Verizon Wireless website, but even then it is not a guarantee.
