What was the wait for this OTA

I have been using the 1.66 leaked supposed OTA OS now i did a clean install of 1.7 official OS and i see no difference both work great

 

only difference might be the newer radio ??

 

Now we find out The Incredible 2 will most likely get GB next week  what gives

 

XDA devs have a fairly good woking version og GB from a Leaked Alpha

 

Now with HTC and Verizon you would think they could out do a handful of Devs ( note these Devs are very talented maybe they mght contract out!!)

+1, and besides a number of developers have place their time developing the roms to what they are and the manufacturers are not using the same method to develop the apps and software. 

 

Leak version are usually designed for users preferences but the manufacture builds are intended to go towards being universally stable and useful for multiple users.  And to accomplish this it takes developing time and money.
