I have power cords everywhere, work, home, vehicle.
Battery will be a major item that gets my attention on the bolt.

The battery issue seems to be blown out of proportion based on what people have said who have actually had their hands on the device. One basically said take the battery life on the Evo and add 10 minutes. Given the 100mAh smaller battery in the bolt and better 4g network, it doesn't seem too bad. I still don't get why HTC likes to skimp on batteries. All of their phones are known for less than stellar battery life.

*yawn* When it's out it is out. As we can tell from the iPhone launch, once the manufacture supplies a product Verizon can get it into our hands

I have gone into several local VZW store over the past month. ALL have told me the same thing. It will be out VERY soon. In the interim I am stuck with a 4 year old POC because my env3, as well as my wife's and daughter's env3 keep shutting off. My annoyance is that I was going to get the Incredible, wasadvised over a month ago to wait by sales person as the TB is coming in days. I guess that is true, after all there are 365 days in a year. Even if VZ did not officially announce a date, they should step up and do so to stopp all this **bleep**. They have had commercials saying coming soon, then the one that followed that saying "available only at Verizon." Yes it's only a phone, but phones, like it or not, have become integral in our daily life. When the very employees of a company keep saying any day and the company has commercials flaunting the greatness of these phone, how can any1 fault the end user, you know the guy paying the bill, for getting annoyed when there seems to be no end in sight? I would not be surprised ig LG beats HTC to the LTE market at VZW.

Along the lines of this... I chose Verizon Wireless to be my mobile phone service provider and activated my new HTC Incredible on Februar 25th for 2 years. On the 15th, I hear that the Thunderbolt is going to be here. I call in and ask if I can take my phone back and swap it for the HTC Thunderbolt as it is 4G and I am paying the same price for 3G on my phone. I called my local Corp VZW store, and *611 CS number. The response I get...
Local VZW Store - "We can trade it out, but you will have to pay a restocking fee on your old phone and pay full price on the Thunderbolt."
Why would I pay a restock fee on my old phone? I'm keeping it if they are going to charge retail on a Thunderbolt....
VZW CS -"Sir, you are beyond the 14 day period. If you would have returned your phone 4 days earlier, and waited for the Thunderbolt, we could have done this."
How in the heck was I supposed to know when nobody from Verizon said the 4G phone would be available until 2 days prior to the release date?! By deciding to go with Verizon 4 days too early, I am paying the same price for 3G as what other people will be getting 4G for. After putting up a few points to CS, they decline to budge, and or help me in this matter. Booooo customer service. I'd be a bit more understanding if I was 30 days in a contract, but wow...

I was in VERY similar situation. I researched and had a good idea TB was coming soon. My env3 was shot in begining of FEB. On a family plan, every1 esle went 4 the incred, they really do not care about 4g. I DO. I broke out an old crappy 4 year old phone and put up with it while waiting for the TB. You can't expect them to hand over new phones when they come out to people who bought phones a month earlier. There is always newer and better, from a business aspect they can't just replace 1 month old non defective phones with the lates models. They are already subsidizing the cost of these new phones. That being said, I think VZ failed to step up to the plate and sqaush all the rumors and set a date in stone, so people would then be able to decide to wait or not.
