Title says it all. This is just to vent. I picked it up last night and cannot believe how bad its reception is. It just does not bother ringing at all half of the time when I have 2 or 3 bars. Anyone else having this issue?
Just a followup. It may not be a reception problem but rather something else. I am getting anywhere between -78 and -83db. Yet it just does not ring about 40% of the time when I call it from a landline. When it DOES ring and I answer, the call quality is very good. Any ideas?
OK my bad. The problem was that my old phone had still not been shut down. So even though the account was switched to the new phone, the system was sometimes confused as to which to try and ring, so I wasn't always getting a ring on the HTC One.
You should always turn off the old phone when trying to switch to a different phone. If it has a SIM card, that should be removed from the old phone.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
