Hello, I got this New Rezound Yesterday, Youtube videos are not loading. I updated all firmware and Apps as well. Everything else works fine including VEVO videos. Youtube works fine on wifi. I am loosing data connection in the middle of browsing webpage as well. Should I return this device and get a new one.

Are you using the YouTube app or the browser? The app works flawlessly for me.

The YouTube App should come pre-installed on the ReZound. If it isn't then it is an easy matter of downloading it from the Android Market.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

You could always try clearing browser or Adobe Flash data and cache, but I would think that you haven't had the phone long enough for this to be the problem.

If you're losing data connection changes are you might be in a weak area, check your signal strength on the phone and if its over 90 thats your problem, if not call tech support from a different phone and see whats wrong

I have experienced this problem as well. I have had my phone for about two weeks. It worked fine initially, but has begun to do the same thing after an update. I have discovered though that if I press pause then play, the video will load.

Hello,
Here are the Vidoes of Problem with HTC Rezound.
1) 4G LTE signal is excellent, 2)the phone is out of box so no issue of any cache, 3)Update the firmware and Youtube app from market.
Still the same problem
Before Update, Out of box

I too, cannot access any videos via 4g on my HTC Rezound. Purchased on Saturday an no youtube videos will play over 4g. While on wifi and 3g, videos play with no problem. Also found that videos do play in the nextvid app.

If you are only having connection issues on LTE, it may be your SIM card. Sometimes they crap out and you may have to go to a store to replace it.

If that was the case, wouldn't I have other issues on the 4g network. I have been getting connection speeds over 25mbps on a pretty regular basis. I have no other network issues. This is a youtube only issue.

Yes, you would, sorry, I didn't re-read before I posted that, I was just reiterating something I read in another thread. So very odd that YouTube isn't working for you. ![]()

YouTube app was updated recently, wondering if maybe it might have helped with loading issues? Open the market, then press menu> my apps, if an update doesn't show, you should have most current version.
