So recently my phone started to refuse to shut off (holding down the power button gave me no option to shut the phone off) and the screen would not timeout (currently set at 15 seconds and it will not time out)...only time it will time out is if I hit the power button (about the only thing the power button will do)
Best Buy mobile (where I bought the phone) and the verizon wireless store in my local mall both told me it had to be an app.
Well I did my third factory reset in a week and my first night (last night) I only installed verizon apps. Then just now I installed google apps then facebook and google + apps.......and now its not doing it again.
Any of those apps able to cause this problem......and any idea how to fix it (I cannot upgrade until April so I can't but stuck with a smartphone that is not smart)
Did you disable your google sync, a lot of times apps will come back over
did you format your sd card? could be app data on the sd card
