reboot the htc rhyme phone

Hello, I am trying to reboot this phone to erase my information from the phone because I'm giving it to my mom. I read the book that comes with it but it does not tell you how to put the phone back like it was new. any help would be appreciated.

From your homescreen, press menu>settings>privacy>factory data reset.

Edit: might be under security instead of privacy, can't remember.
