3 bars at the best, intermittent 4g (many times dropping to 3g, but even when it says 4 g it has a 2MB connection at times)
In locations where I always had 20-30 Mb or better I have at best 4-6 Mb download...and upload speeds in the Kb range.
I have streaming sites dropping and they tell me my internet is too slow (and these are MUSIC SITES)
I got so frustrated with these issues and my worthless Internet speed (heck even sms is failing occasionally with connection issues), I even reset my phone to stock default and the issues were still there...sigh.
I'm almost ready after 2 weeks of this to downgrade my phone to a minimum plan and get a new phone with ATT

Unfortunately my connection speeds have been horrible since the lollipop upgrade
My speeds at my office in zip 33496 using ookla app from speedtest.net
Hostcrawler Ft Lauderdale DL 3.11 Mbps UL 0.51 Mbps ping 49 ms
Comcast Miami DL 2.64 Mbps UL 0.13 Mbps ping 53 ms
Towersream Miami DL 1.66 Mbps UL 0.35 Mbps ping 51 ms
Same zip using FCC speed test
Dallas DL 2.47 Mbps UL 89.75 Kbps ping 400 ms Packet loss 27.27%
With ookla
Zip 33309 (at my house where I always got DL of 30 Mbps and Uploads of 9 Mbps or better)
Hostcrawler Ft Lauderdale DL 8.08 UL 3.01 Mbps ping 69 ms
Comcast Miami DL 8.91 Mbps UL 2.37 Mbps and ping 79ms
This is all since my upgrade to lollipop…before that with Kit Kat I had no problems

Is there anyway to re-download the lollipop update through verizon?
I am going to do a hard reset of the phone yet again (yuck), though I know the phone is now locked to lollipop and upgrades to that automatically (as it did with the last hard reset)
I am wondering if somehow the original upgrade from Verizon was some how corrupted and each hard reset only resets to the corrupted version?
As I said the phone is at present all but useless with no data

Oh well
I’m not sure what to do as the current situation is untenable.
Weird thing is occasionally the 4G is back to great levels (20-30 Mbs downloads around 10 uploads in the best locations) but then 10 minutes later it drops to 2 Mbs in the exact same location.
As I said all this happened since the Verizon supplied lollipop upgraded.
I have done a hard reset 3 different times, guess Verizon’s version of lollipop is not fully supported on an HTC One M8
Now I have to decide what to do….root my phone and put a non-Verizon free flash on it (sure it voids my nonexistent Verizon support)…eat my early termination fees and buy a new phone with AT&T…or go to Sprint with their ETF refund specials at half my Verizon fees (though slow 4G but still much faster then I get now.
I’m lost as to what to do, but as is my phone has become useless

First of all I do not have LTE/CMDA as an option.
I have
LTE MODE No difference between Global
LTE/legacy 3GPP turns of all connection
Global No difference between LTE
Well one thing that happens if changing between LTE and Global or back is my connection becomes disabled until I turn airplane mode on and off, then my connection in either is re-enabled
I have always had roaming off as in the past here in the US only I have experienced high costs with roaming charges in the past . Maybe the carriers play better together now, but I was paying roaming charges while my coverage switched while driving. Turning it on and off both experience no differences in tests I just did
