Upgraded to lollipop, I lost CDMA mode

Before lollipop, I had an option "CDMA mode" under "preferred network". Now, after the update, that option is gone.

At many locations I get poor bandwidth on 4G (often unusable), and I used CDMA mode to manually switch to 3G, which worked great. That option is now gone. How do I switch to 3G?

Verizon may have chosen to remove that option, you can try a number of play store apps that may do it for you (depends on your device, check reviews/app for more info)
