Delay with 1.9 rollout? I was expected this, morover I was positive it will happen. After all, this is Verizon, guys, the company unable to do things right! 5 year of develpoing IMG, then beta testing then March 2011 they started rollout, then they stopped rolout because of the negative reaction from customers, then hurricane, then strike, then, then then... What is the reason for delay now? I already expressed opinion that Verizon IMG development team is very unprofessional, based on how they do rollout...
Well, maybe we all finally get 1.9 sometime in the future - 5-6 years from now. Joe Ambeault once said that he is very proud of his IMG dvelopment team. If I would be him, I certainly will not.

Where are the delays taking place at? In which market? If it's DAC 5, Then it's time to skip to last set of DAC's in DAC 3. Unless there's something Holding DAC 3 up as well?

I agree mr Alden...its raining here..thays why..union guys don't work in the rain..wind snow....if there hungry ..upset...or any holiday unkess you pay them extorsion rates...the thing that gets me upset is they do not communicate when..how...or why about anything ..just like cable...they need to realize a large chunk. Of their subscriber base are tech savvy not the average dolt who doesn't know how things work or want to...well they do not do updates on any other day than Tuesday so maybe next week....see ya all next week..HEY JOE CHIME IN ..LET US KNOW WHATS THE DEAL!!!!!!
Are you done?
Realize that all the scheduling, programming, and systems integration work are done by Management, not Union personnel. And all methods of communication (including miscommunication) are management responsibilities.
And yes, they do work in the rain, But for safety-mandated reasons (again a Management decision, albeit a smart one.) usually indoor jobs are completed in inclement weather.
But don't let me confuse you with the facts, if your mind is made up.

Did Joe A. say anything in any of the forums yet? Beside just the tweeting. The batting order has changed and Nova should be smiling sooner which means what exactly? Moving on to the next DAC?

I haven't seen him on the forums for a while, but in his tweets he tells people from NY and Boston that they are now last in the queue due to a maintenance issue unrelated to the IMG update and that the next area should be getting the update in days. Since there are only 2 DACs left, and the "NoVA smiling sooner" is his words (or approximately his words), the implication is that DAC 3 is now planned in "days."

Of course in the past he has said days were up to 12 days. I still expect its 11/9, but you never know until it actually happens.

I am not even going to get mildly excited until that message everyone talks about (a new fios is coming) appears on my menu, but in my dreams it'll roll out here next week.
Getting the message is only part of the answer. We received that message in the NY area last week and still have not received the update. Even if this is due to unplanned server work, it still shows that even receiving the message is no guarantee. Something always seems to go wrong. This gets very frustrating after a while.
