My old router has a usb plug in the back and i was able to plug it in log on to the router and change a few settings then map the drive and i was done. I can't figure out how to add a shared drive to this router (MI424WR).
I plugged an HD to the USB plug in the back but i cant figure out any setting to add it to the network or find it on the routers page.
Win7
Thanks!

No can do. The USB port in the back of the router is not enabled, per verizon.

Well, You can either "wait around" here, until you get the number of responses that meet your "point of acceptance" ( I wouldn't blame you for waiting, I wouldn't believe the first yahoo that comes along LOL) or you can call VZ tech support, and wait for them to give you the correct answer. My money's on "waiting around, There are many of us around here who have already dealt with this issue.

Verizon has said it is not enabled now, but has implied that they may enable it the future for some uses similar to what you are trying to do.
