I am running Vista Home Premium, have a Westell 327w Modem, and have my HP desktop hooked up with the erthernet cable. I just received a Coby Kyros MID 8024, entered in my SSID and password, and when I try to connect, it will show it is obtaining IP address from my network, then it shows "disconnect". I previously had my Wii console connected with no issues. I removed the Wii from my listed devices, so the Kyros is the only thing I am trying to connect. The manual for the Kyros says the router must support 802.11b/g, which the Westell does. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

It sounds ilke I have the same problem, but at McDonald's the wifi is fine! At home; connecting... disconnected (repeat ad nauseum). What was the root problem / solution?
I am trying to connect in a building with 20 or so visible wifi connections, on a cheap and simple modem / router unit.

How did you solve this. I have the same problem with my Amazon Kindle Fire. I can't connect to my wifi. Any suggestions for a solution?
