Having problems with new guide

With the old guide, I could just hold the up or down arrow keys and cycle through all channels.  Say 1900 was the last channel, and if I kept holding the key down, it would cycle around to channel 2.  Now it won't do that for me.  Is there any way to change it so it will cycle again?

I'm not a fan of the new guide.  I don't understand why this guide isn't more user customizable.  I found out on this board if you have one of the older 6xxx boxes, you're stuck with the 4:3 size guide bar, unless you swap out to a 7xxx box?
