Hello,
I live in NJ and received the IMG 1.9 update a few days ago.
Every time I turn on my TV, I get the set-up screen asking me to choose my television type (standard or HDTV). For some reason, the box isn't "holding" my choice. I tried rebooting, but the set-up screen continues to pop up when I turn on the television. It let's me choose my television type (HDTV) and then everything is fine. But if I shut off the set and put it back on, the set-up screen is back.
Is anyone else having this problem with 1.9? And if so, is there a solution.
Thanks for any help.

If you are having an issue with your Verizon service, you can use the Verizon Troubleshooter to fix and report issues with your Verizon Phone, FiOS TV, or Internet Service. You can also schedule a repair. Here is the link: http://www.verizon.com/repair
You can also find tools on the Verizon Residential Support page that may help you diagnose your issue: http://www22.verizon.com/residentialhelp

I have the same issue, with the 7232 not the 3 7100s we have. All of the sets are connected via HDMI, but every time since Wednesday we have to choose before we can watch TV. It is just an annoyance that won't go away. I tried to reboot and send a set top auto correction, but neither worked.
Loved how you got the canned response with no helpful information. If we could use the troubleshooter we wouldn't be here asking for help.

Did the Live Chat and here is what became of it, of course the rep proves once again that they never read the information you try to provide, they only know the script. And they don't get it, asking a question that has been answered tends to tick us off.

As a follow up to my post above, choosing SD on startup and then going into the settings and changing it back to HD worked. I turned on the TV today and wasn't asked.

Just wanted to report that this issue resolved itself a couple of days ago on its own (at least without any input on my part!). Not sure if Verizon made any adjustments on their end, but I no longer have to choose between SD and HD everytime I put on my television.
Thanks.
