Need Help configuring wifi

I am not too tech savvy, but have managed so far with my network with desktop, laptop, printers, etc.  I have a new Motorola (Verizon) Droid X phone that I cannot configure to connect to my network. Router is Actiontec M1424WR.  Yes, I have put in the phones MAC address to enable it to connect.  Thanks, Nancy
