I recently upgraded from a nim-100 and Linksys router combination to the all-in-one Actiontec cable modem MI424-WR Rev F.
Elsewhere in the house, I also had a NIm-100 connected directly to COAX in order to provide direct internet to a PC.
Although the device is visible via the Actiontec control panel at 192.168.1.1, it indicates that the Nim-100 connected via COAX is "cable disconnected".
The status is shown below. How do I fix this?
Status: | Cable Disconnected |
Network: | Broadband Connection |
Connection Type: | Coax |
MAC Address: | xxxxxxxxxxxxx(hidden) |
IP Address Distribution: | Disabled |
Channel: | Cable Disconnected |
