Upgrade my router

I currently have a Westell Versalink 327W router. The Wi-fi constantly drops out and is very slow with current devices wireless devices we have. is there a a different router with wi-fi that has greater wireless speed offered by Verizon or is there an off the shelf router I can purchase that will definetly work on Verizon DSL?

#1 For details of one the reasons thar you are having Wireless Issues, i would suggest reading

#2 For faster speed that Wireless G, an off the self router.

Then do one two things.

a) Covert the second router to act as Hub/Switch/Wap.

OR

b) Set the modem combo not to handle the Public IP (Bridge-Bridge Mode) and have your Off the self RJ-45 WAN port router handle the connection.

*** Please note the first option (FAQ) that I pointed you to: Talks about only the Red and Black Firmware and it works for DSL users too (not limited to only FIOS). **
