1.9 was on the stb when I checked before leaving for work (mount vernon area). will check it all out tonight when I get home and add my external drive.
Reston Virginia. Both my DVRs were up and running on 1.9 this morning, October 26, 2011. Upgrade looks good and seems to work fine. Also, no issues accessing the DVRs via the MY FIOS App running on my DROID.
Plenty of good info here...

Yeah, I have it too in Germantown.
Although this may have been covered previously, I'm looking for a 2 TB external HD that will work. This site only forwards you to a 1TB. Does anyone have a 2TB that works?
STB's updated overnight. Pasadena MD : ) now, what.
Got the update last night here in Richmond Va. Big surprise as I thought we were last on the list. Looks good.
Got it in Waldorf, MD. Is anyones 7232 kinda sluggish in menus? My 7216 is running faster.
Is this whole ver. 1.9 and eSATA capability only applicable to the newest DVRs? I'm in Leesburg and still have whatever ancient box they gave us 2 years ago.
I've read its free to swap your box out for the new one at a "Fios Store", but I always have a bad feeling about changing anything with Verizon. I feel like there is a fee lurking around every turn. This current HD DVR just doesn't get the job done though. We don't even record in HD half the time anymore because it fills up so fast.
There IS a one time fee for a QIP 7323 DVR swap. I believe it was something like $40. Adding an eSATA drive gives even more capacity.
I have two DVRs at home, and just verified that with IMG 1.9, I can see the recordings on both DVRs from any STB in my house. I'm considering turning in one of the DVRs, getting a regular HD STB to replace it, and just using my eSATA drive for higher capacity. The only thing I'd lose is the ability to record more than two shows simulatanously (two per DVR). This not a big deal to me, and I could save a little monthly rental cost.
