Hi,
I recently received an Actiontec MI424WR-GEN3I rev. I router with my Fios upgrade of 75/35.
Now, I'm having a problem with getting anything close to those connection speeds on WiFi.
The router is set to only 802.11n broadcasting, AES encryption, and my WiFi card is on 802.11n mode only.
For testing purposes I shut off all other wireless devices and anything radio based that would interfere with the connection. And the computer is right next to the router. I'm only getting 24/30 speed (Yes 30 upload speed...)
(On a LAN interface I'm getting 8X/4X)
Anyone have some suggestions on what I can do to get closer to those speeds?
Thanks.

Just a few things come to mind:
1. Update driver for Wifi card.
2. Reset wifi card/adapter.
3. Manually set wifi channel on router to 1,6, or 11 in router firmware.
4. Download and run inSSIDer and see what other wifi networks you are competeing with.
5. Uninstall and reinstall your wifi adapter in Device Manager.
Regards,
Scott
