netgear wire G router

How can I connect a netgear wireless G to a 6100 modem?  I can connect to wireless, but no internet access.

a) What is the model of your Netgear?

b) Is your Westell using the White and Blue OR the Red and Black firmware?

I was able to connect the router to the modem by changing the IP address to 192.168.10.1. It connected and is staying connected. Well, so far it is staying connected.
