LTE Network Extender

Purchased Verizon LTE Network Extender

My phone keeps dropping back to 1 maybe 2 bars. Extender keeps dropping and having to restart phone  and access Verizon #48 to connect. What is the purpose of the extender if it does not keep a connection or consistent amplification of  my signal to 4-5 bars?  Restarting my phone several times a day isn't what I expected. What is the issue here? Phone? Extender? or another extender? Doubt a Booster would work if I can't get a signal. The LTE Network Extender is not exactly an inexpensive purchase for it not to keep a signal. What is another solution for me to obtain cellular service to use my phone? (iPhone Mini 13)  All my neighbors have good coverage, but not me which I realize could be my house and /or something blocking the signal. My antenna is sitting on my window but doesn't seem to rectify my issue of keeping or amplifying a connection for which was suggested to correct or the ability to use my phone. Struggling to find a working iPhone  at my new home.

Hi I live in New Jersey and recently bought an IPhone 15 thinking that my old iPhone was the problem; but that’s not the case still with 1 -2 bars and dropped calls here and there . Is very annoying that you paying all this money and don’t have great signal and always a problem. I feel you on this issue.

Playa14, we're sorry to hear that you're having problems with your service. It's our goal to make sure you're able to use your phone without any problems no matter where you are. What troubleshooting have you been able to try so far? Do you know if other Verizon users have issues in that same area?

Does the phone support WiFi calling and is it on or off?  You may try toggling it.

My only frustration is with you responding to me.  I am not the poster with the issue.

I was having the same problem with dropped or garbled calls in my home. I even tried adding a 2nd Verizon network extender, but still experiencing horrible cell service.
The problem is that the Verizon network extender is conflicting with the WiFi  network in my home. I disconnected the Verizon network extenders and have wifi calling enabled.  It took me months to figure this out but that seems to be the solution and calls work 99% of the time now.

Sorry for the long explanation but over and over and over do I explain what I have done to try to resolve my dropped calls. Moved to a new home which  must be in a dead zone. Unable to utilize iPhone 13 Mini due to dropped calls, calls failed. Maybe 2 bars but mostly one. I walked around my whole neighborhood and only 2 bars- a mile or so of open space. Still dropped a call. My phone seems to drop calls with 2 bars. While many say don't focus on "bars" read that while my phone struggles to get a signal, may be the cause of my excessive battery drain- another issue.. Yes, been to a Verizon store, many chats w Verizon and turned off and adjusted settings to help. Within Verizon I get conflicting suggestions. Another Verizon suggestion:  I ordered an LTE Network Extender, got 5 bars, did a reset which I thought helped but with 5 bars on a call and with the extender up and running- it dropped a call!.   Returning the extender. Keep hoping for a resolution.  Booster? MIMO antenna? Reviewed coverage maps, but towers nearby. Will say, AT&T and T-Mobile had better (slightly) coverage. Purchased a New SIM card. ALL my neighbors have had absolutely no issues , with Verizon, no dropped calls. We are all in new homes, same builder, no trees, small town,  etc  Baffled that I alone in my neighborhood have this issue. As a note: I  had to move  my fiber optic router location within my home to enhance internet connection but that worked and also purchased my own but  better router.. Back of home definitely lacks coverage. Baffled, getting more confused, but  still struggling and determined to find  a solution.

Sorry, already been  through many chats and calls with Verizon already. Yes, someone checked my area.... Get transferred around a lot, many technical support areas, even  sold an Extender that didn't help, just travelled 25 miles to a UPS store to return it,  and at this point, reaching out to the Verizon community or will seek other resources outside of Verizon. Thanks anyway .

If your internet connection the 4G LTE Network Extender was using is fiber optics, that might have contributed to or confused your issue.  The Network Extender needs a broadband internet connection and may not be compatible with a fiber optic internet connection.

I have a similar problem.  My network extender works for a few days, then quits connecting to my iPhone 13.  Replaced it twice and the same thing happens.  No error messages, everything looks fine, but it will not connect.  I know it is not the phone because I can connect to another network extender.  Multiple calls to Verizon tier 2 tech support have not fixed the problem.  Any suggestions?

they never fix the issue just want a PM sent to them  and they never just answer the issue,  I understand what your saying if I Knew what verizon  has changed to stop people from using a extender of a Signal Booster I'd help you out but I assure you they know what verizon did to prevent us from using one,  because bought one and it worked fine until Verizon did something to our tower recently and it now only gets 2 bars and it was Pegged until Verizon shut our Tower down recently and came back up with a icky signal.
