Neighbor says extender wrecked their signal

We have had great improvement with our Verizon extender in our house. I am having a neighbor say their phone calls are dropping since we’ve installed it. Has anyone else had these issues?

Yes, others have reported this issue on the Forum.  There is a signal transmit power level setting in the extender's admin page that you can adjust down.  Maybe you can find a setting where it will maintain a strong signal in your house, but not be strong enough to cause issues with your neighbor.

They told me they did and that Verizon confirmed it was our extender.

We seem to have the same issue..  Next door just got a complimentary booster since Verizon service is bad here, and now it makes my Verizon service even worse.  Would a booster in my own house help?   I hate to make this my neighbors problem

If your Verizon cell signal is weak and your neighbor's network extender cell signal is also competing with Verizon local cell tower, then your calls may be bouncing back and forth between the varying cell signals causing problems. If you don't have WiFi and cannot use WiFi Calling then your own 4G LTE Network extender may help provide a stronger stable signal in your home. A broadband internet connection is required for the extender to work properly and if your neighbors internet connection does not have sufficient bandwidth there may be problems with congestion.

Signal extenders are designed to enhance connectivity, but their improper setup can sometimes cause unintended issues, like interference with nearby networks. Have you checked whether the extender is configured to operate on a different frequency or channel from your neighbor’s devices? Overlapping frequencies can sometimes lead to signal degradation for others.

I believe the OP is referring to Network Extenders and not signal boosters/extenders. The currently supported 4G LTE Network Extenders provide their own local cell signal and do not 'boost' or extend cell signal from a local tower. The 4G LTE Network Extenders admin pages only allow the cell signal transmit level to be adjusted.  They use band 13 for their cell signal and that cannot be changed. The ECI ending in 0470 is my Samsung SLS-BU10B.
