High speed internet service question

Verizon's high speed internet never worked as advertized. Customer service has always been terrible. Never available. Not even the automated customer service through the website works. Tried ALL browsers. Website does not display account information. One day is there the next disappeared. Have had a land line for 18 years with verizon, and it is the only reason why I still use this mediocre service for "high speed internet". Had Verizon Wireless for years and was totally ripped off with a terrible service. Ended up changing to T-Mobile recently. Could not be happier. When is this company going to wake up?
