MOCA 2.5 and COAX Cabling

So i upgraded to the CR1000A and used to have a Fios Ethernet Network Adapter (MOCA 2.) on the second floor.

I decided to buy a new MOCA  2.5 FIOS Ethernet Adapter and take advantage of the faster speeds. However when I hook up the MOCA 2.5 ethernet adapter it wont work.. if i replace it with the old MOCA 2.0 ethernet adapter no problem. It seems the MOCA 2.5 adapter only works with certain COAX outlets in my house (detached single family home). Is it possible i need to upgrade the COAX cables for those outlets where the MOCA 2.5 adapter does not work?

Thank you
